The Interdisciplinary Child Welfare Institute is back August 5th-9th! The Course offers a unique, inside look into effective multidisciplinary practice among child-serving professionals.
While several professions have a stake in the proper handling of child welfare cases, none owns the child welfare problem, and none alone can solve the multifaceted challenge presented by any single case.
Working predominantly from both social work and law perspectives, this two-credit, intensive week-long course will explore critical child welfare topics, such as:
Open to both both law and social work graduate students as well as working professionals across the country, the course features dynamic classroom exercises, interdisciplinary panel discussions, practice tools, and guest lectures from experts in the child welfare field.
Professionals may register for the entire course or for specific days. CLE and CEU approval pending.
